I would like to add my name to the list of "downwinders".

My name is Annie Ruth Del (nee Crowson). I was a resident of Kingman, Arizona (Mohave County) from May 1948 to June 1959.

While in Kingman, I married my husband, Bernard Dehl, June 4, 1950, and graduated from the Mohave County Union High School in 1951. Two daughters were born in Kingman; Bernice Ann Dehl, June 19,1955 and and Darlene Sue Dehl, July 25, 1957.

In June of 1959 we moved to Henderson, nevada. Currently we are residents of Carson City, Nevada.

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, stage two, in May 1998.

In june 199 I had a lumpectomy in Carson City. I was also tested for bone cancer. I received chemothrapy and radiation and took Tamoxifen pills which caused blood clotting. I took Coumadin and Tamoxifen for five years.

As of June 2003, I have been in remission.

I have had some bleeding and had fibroids removed in May 2003.

Following is a list of family members I have lost to date:

1. Elmore L logas (father-in-law) 1980 cancer

2. Hanna Logas (mother-in-law) 1982 cancer

3. Billy Logas (brother-in-law) 2002 cancer

4. Lauren Fanire (niece) in remission from cancer

5. Joanne Legg (sister-in-law) diagnosed wit a form of blood cancer. Remission.

I recall the bright skies and earth rumbling during the nuclear tests in Nevada.
